Food controls motivation. Wrong food if taken thrice a day, makes us drowsy for 2 hours x 3 times that’s pretty much 6 hours a day. Be aware that food with refined sugar, refined atta, polished rice without significant amount of fiber and associated essential nutrients – that cause more fluctuation of blood sugar and thus motivation. Motivated self increases productivity.
Tyrosine(essential amino acid) is the precursor to dopamine, which is in itself a precursor of epinephrine and norepinephrine. Banana peels contain significant amounts of norepinephrine and dopamine. So, the way we can increase the level of dopamine in the brain, we increase the level of nor-adrenaline and thus able to do focus and to be agile at work. The level of nor-epinephrine is reduced in our brain in depression. In Alzheimer’s patient, 70% of nor-epinephrine receptors are lost. So, we should be doing activities to promote nor-epinephrine and dopamine to keep ourselves healthy.
We can release the serotonin at will with self-induced positive mood, self-induced positive outlook about the world, exposure to bright light, exercise, meditation and along with food rich in tryptophan (essential amino acid).
Now if you can see the graph, right you can see in the x axis, there are minutes written. So these are 60 Minutes, 120 Minutes, 180 Minutes and to 40 Minutes that does mean in two hours what happens to your blood sugar level and to your motivation. And in the y axis you can see the levels are determined by low,normal and then again a normal, showing the normal range.
So, if we take food with high fiber carbohydrate, protein and with essential fatty acid, then you can clearly see that the fluctuation of blood sugar is very much less and the sugar level of blood is also persisting for more than 4 hours.
It delay our cravings for food and it creates a better motivated self .
After an hour of taking refined sugar, there is a sharp rise of blood sugar followed by insulin also go up and go down it fluctuates High you feel foggy.
Which doesn’t happen if your food is having high fiber carbohydrate essential amino acids and essential fatty acids.
